摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain the title refractory remarkably effective in preventing the sticking of inclusion to the inside of a tundish nozzle and the surface of a stopper at the time of continuously casting molten steel by blending spinel as alumina-magnesia binary oxide having a high alumina content with a prescribed percentage of graphite. CONSTITUTION:The above-mentioned refractory is composed of spinel as Al2O3- MgO binary oxide having 70-80wt.% Al2O3 content and graphite added by 5-20wt.% of the total amt. Since Al2O3 as inclusion sticks hardly to solid soln. of spinel (Al2MgO4), a stopper and a tundish nozzle for continuous casting inhibiting the sticking of Al2O3 as inclusion can be obtd. |
