PURPOSE:To obtain heat-sensitive transfer recording material using a yellow dye having proper sublimation properties, a high molar extinction coefficient and high tinting strength and excellent in preservability such as light fastness by providing a layer containing a specific dye on a support. CONSTITUTION:A layer containing a dye represented by formula (wherein R<1> is an alkyl group which may be substituted, a cycloalkyl group, an alkenyl group or an aryl group, R<2> is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group which may be substituted and a A-group is a phenyl group which may be substituted) is provided on a support. In the formula, as an alkyl group represented by R<1>, a 1-6 alkyl group is pref. and, for example, a methyl group, an ethyl group, an isopropyl group, an n-butyl group or an n-hexyl group are designated and, as a cycloalkyl group represented by R<1>, a 5-6C cycloalkyl group is pref. and, for example, a cyclobenzyl group and a cyclohexyl group are designated and, as an alkenyl group represented by R<1>, a 3-6 alkenyl group is pref. and, for example, 2-propenyl group or a 3-hexenyl group is designated. |
