PURPOSE:To avoid impossibilities in detection of the position due to disconnection by forming double rectangular loops which generate a target magnetic field to detect the relative position and driving the loops separately. CONSTITUTION:In the case where two excavators advancing from opposite directions make underground joining or one excavator joins a structure placed within a mine, rectangular loops 211, 212 are formed at the front face 1a1 of the excavator or structure. The loop 211 is exposed to the front face 1a1. The loop 212 is placed at such a position as to be projected on the rear face of the loop 211, and generates a magnetic field to be detected. Moreover, the loops 211, 212 extend in an up-and-down direction to detect the eccentricity in the horizontal direction, in the double structure. Therefore, the loops 211, 212 are driven independently from each other without impressing a voltage at the same time. In this manner, even if one loop is disconnected, the other loop is possible to drive, and the relative position can be detected by a magnetic sensor without any trouble. |
