<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the trouble of an information selection regarding monitoring and control by an operator and to efficiently perform the monitoring and control by offering a selecting key or picture selection menu with which the operator obtain desired picture information in proper form according to the existing state and obtaining the picture information that the operator requires by performing selecting operation once. CONSTITUTION:The degree of the load on the operator is determined according to the operation state of a plant and knowledge regarding the degree of the load on the operator corresponding to various estimated states, and candidates for menu panels are given priority and selected among many prepared menu panels according to the operation state of the plant and a function that the operator requires. Then the deletion or addition of menu items or the rearrangement of item positions is performed for the menu panel candidates according to the determined degree of the load, the use history of display picture, etc., so that a menu panel is reconstituted and displayed. The operator can, therefore, obtain necessary picture information by performing the selecting operation once. Consequently, the trouble of the information selection by the operator is eliminated and the monitoring and control are efficiently performed.</p> |
