The conveyor system for moving and rotating cup-shaped articles comprises two conveyor belts (1,4), on which the articles stand under their own weight. During the conveyor motion they are engaged by a rotating mechanism and turned about their vertical axis. During rotation, the rotating mechanism is guided in a link and swivelled about its vertical axis. The turning mechanism pref. comprises a turntable (7), with two non-rotary arms, engaging by their ends in the links. One link swivels the arms and turntable about 90 deg.., and the other one returns the turntable to its original postion.
