The controller contains at least one pressure and one power supply and an electronic controller mounted on the vehicle, operating state sensors, at least one pressure control valve, wheel valves and transfer devices connecting the parts on the wheels with those on the vehicle so that the tyre pressure can be raised or lowered. Operating state, e.g. tyre pressure sensors and an electronic processor unit are mounted on the wheel side. Sensor signals are passed to the processor. The transfer arrangement passes electrical power from the chassis to the wheel side.
