PURPOSE:To prepare a resin compsn. having a high impact strength and giving a molded article with an excellent appearance by compounding a polyamide resin, a thermoplastic polyester resin, and a beta-hydroxyalkylated polyamide resin. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. is prepd. by compounding a polyamide resin, a thermoplastic polyester resin, and a beta-hydroxyalkylated polyamide resin, pref. in a wt. ratio of the polyamide resin to the polyester resin and that of the sum of the polyamide resin and the polyester resin to the beta-hydroxyalkylated polyamide resin of (20:80)-(95:5) and (60:40)-(99:1), respectively. The obtd. resin compsn. has an improved water resistance and a high impact strength and gives a molded article with an excellent appearance while maintaining the characteristics inherent in each of the three resins. |
