The invention relates to an arrangement for testing an object 2 connected to an electrical wiring system, which affords the requisite testing even of such objects which are located at a distance outside the normal reach of a person, consisting of a number of parts 1a, 1b arranged displaceably in or relative to one another. Said parts 1a, 1b are arranged so as to interact with a part 1c formed partly by a handle 4. Said part 1c is arranged so as to interact with a winding-up arrangement 5 intended for a long electrically conductive wire 8. Said part 1c is also arranged so as to interact with the necessary means 6 for determining an instantaneous test result.
