PURPOSE:To obtain a toner having a fine color and satisfactory weather resistance by incorporating a specified rhodamine dye and a specified certain dye in a specified weight ratio. CONSTITUTION:A rhodamine dye belonging to C.I. Solvent Red 49 is mixed with a dye belonging to C.I. Solvent Red 218(S) in 1:1 weight ratio and the resulting colorant is added to resin by 0.1-10.0pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the resin. In the case of <0.1pt.wt., color developing characteristics are not obtd. and necessary density cannot be ensured. In the case of >10pts.wt., the compatibility of the dyes with the resin is reduced and bleeding is liable to occur. When the colorant is added by 0.1-10.0pts.wt., weather resistance can be improved while maintaining the fine saturation. |
