PURPOSE:To remarkably improve flame retardance and the effect on global environmental pollution by producing a foam from a liq. phenol resin, a blowing agent mainly comprising dichloropentafluoropropane, a curing agent, and other additives. CONSTITUTION:In producing a phenol resin foam from a liq. phenol resin, a blowing agent, a curing agent, and other additives, the blowing agent is one mainly comprising dichloropentafluoropropane including all isomers such as 1,1-dichloro-2,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropane and 1,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3- pentafluoropropane. When a co-blowing agent is used, the dichloropentafluoropropane should be used in an amt. of 50wt.% or higher, pref. 70wt.% or higher, of the sum of the blowing agents. |
