There are given disclosures on a polyisoprene compound of the formula <CHEM> wherein Y is S, O, NH or <CHEM> 1 is an integer of 2 - 10, Z is a group of <CHEM> R<1> and R<2> are same or different and each means a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having C1-4, m is an integer of 0 or 1, and n is an integer of 0, 1 or 2, a salt thereof, a process for the preparation of same, and use thereof.
