<p>An apparatus for recording information in an information recording medium such as an optical card or the like and reproducing the recorded information therefrom includes as essential components a housing (1), an instrument section (A) arranged in the housing (1) for recording/reproducing information , a supply source duct (11) arranged in the housing (1) while having a supply source circuit board (18) received therein, an air intake port (21) formed on one side wall (12) of the supply source duct (11), an air outlet port (24) formed on another side wall (15) of the supply source duct (11), an air flow passage (20) formed between the one side wall (12) of the supply source duct (11) and the supply source circuit board (18) so as to allow the air intake port (21) to be communicated with the air outlet port (24), and a cooling fan (25) disposed in the air outlet port (24). The supply source duct (11) is arranged adjacent to the instrument section (A). It is preferable that the air intake port (21) is formed on a bottom wall (16) of the supply source duct (11) and the air outlet port (24) is formed on a rear side wall (15) of the supply source duct (11). <IMAGE></p> |
