PURPOSE:To shorten the rewrite time of contents stored across plural E<2>PROMs by providing a write end detecting means and a control means which commands the next write to a write indicating means in accordance with the detection of the write end. CONSTITUTION:When the write of program information to memory cells in respective E<2>PROMs 20 and 30 is terminated, read information and information for write in a CPU 10 coincide with each other. The CPU 1 detects the end of the write to first and second E<2>PROMs 20 and 30 based on the result of coincidence discrimination, and the CPU 10 is operated as the write end detecting means at this time. After detecting the end of write, the CPU 10 advances procedures as the control means and reads out program information of the next page from a work memory and simultaneously indicates the write to two E<2>PROMs 20 and 30, and therefore, the time required for write is reduced to an about half of the conventional time. Thus, the rewrite time of stored contents in plural E<2>PROMs is shortened. |
