The device has a screw coupling (6) and its support (1) with guiding surfaces (7) for a draw-bar hook of the vehicle being coupled. The support (1) is, along with the screw coupling, suspended on the pin (2) and is jacked up by the pneumatic cylinder (4). The electromechanical sensor, placed between the guiding surfaces (7) of the support (1), for indicating position of the draw-bar hook of the vehicle being coupled consists of a mechanical switch (14) and lever (1), which is pressed against the mechanical switch (14) by means of a spring (12).<IMAGE>
