A pesticide and/or a fertilizer and the like scattered or sprayed onto a golf course (1), together with most of the sprayed water or rain water, are permeated into a turf (15A), a thick sand layer (15) having high water permeability and capillary-like action and the like, whereby only the rain water and the like absorbed, filtered and purified by the golf course (1) itself are discharged to the outside of the golf course, thereby preventing the occurence of a so-called golf link pollution. The golf course (1) is constituted by the turf (15A), the thick sand layer (15) having high water permeability and capillary-like action, a macadam layer (12) and the like, and water collecting tubes (21, 22 and 23) are provided at suitable intervals below the macadam layer (12), whereby the fertilizer, pesticide and the like scattered or sprayed onto the golf course (1), together with most of the rain water, sprayed water or the like to the golf course (1), are permeated into the sand layer (15) through the turf (15A), the fertilizer, persticide and the like mixed in this rain water are caused to adhere to and remain in the high water-permeable sand layer (15), purified by the activities of bacteria living in the ground, thereafter, the rain water and the like are caused to collide against the macadam layer (12) provided at the bottom of the high water-permeable sand layer (15) as being a fluidized resistant material layer, the fertilizer, pesticide and the like still being mixed and remaining in the rain water and the like flowing down the macadam layer (12) are caused to sink at the bottom of the macadam layer and filtered, and only the purified rain water is collected in the water collecting tubes (21, 22 and 23), and discharged to the outside of the golf links. |
