UCF1 Compounds Derivatives Thereof and Processes for Their Preparation

Compounds UCF1 and derivatives thereof exhibit anti-bacterial and anti-tumour activities and may be used for the preparation of anti-bacterial and antitumour agents. Compounds UCF1 may be produced by fermentation of a microorganism of the genus Streptomyces capable of producing compounds UCF1, preferably Streptomyces sp. UOF1 (FERM BP-2844) and recovering the desired compounds from the cultured broth.
