Recuperator comprises a system with a semi-permeable membrane sepg. the water vapour present in the dry air leaving the dryer. The latent heat of the vapour, with compression in an exhauster, is transferred to the dry air introduced into a heat exchanger, with decrease in losses and fuel consumption. The air from the dryer can be vented, or recirculated together with the preheated dry air.
