<p>PURPOSE:To prepare a conductive paste which can electrically connect two conductors without using a lead wire by compounding a specific metal wax with an org. vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A conductive paste is prepd. by compounding 80-90wt.% palladium wax with 10-20wt.% org. vehicle, or by compounding 30-80wt.% nickel wax, 5-50wt.% silver, 5-15wt.% cobalt-tungsten carbide, and 10-20wt.% org. vehicle. It can electrically connect two conductors without using a lead wire, etc. When the paste is used, e.g. for filling viaholes of a metal-cored ceramic substrate adaptable to a silver conductor, the viahole part can be formed before forming a thick film circuit, thus enabling the damage to the circuit to be avoided, the steps of plating, soldering, and wire bonding to be eliminated, and the complication of the process, cost increase, and lowering in reliability to be prevented.</p> |
