PURPOSE:To prepare a polyolefin resin foam having fine cells and improved in the uniformity of cells by adding natural cyclodextrin and/or modified cyclodextrin to a polyolefin resin optionally containing a decomposable blowing agent, a crosslinking agent and a crosslinking assistant and foaming the resulting mixture. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin is mixed with at least one member selected from among 1-30 pts.wt. decomposable blowing agent which is a compound which can be decomposed by heating to produce 50-200cc/g of a gas (e.g. azodicarbonamide), 0.02-5 pts.wt. crosslinking agent which is a substance which can be decomposed to generate radicals by the application of thermal energy (e.g. dicumyl peroxide) and 3-30 pts.wt. crosslinking assistant (e.g. divinylbenzene) and 0.1-10 pts.wt. natural cyclodextrin and/or modified cyclodextrin, and the resulting mixture is foamed. |
