Density measurement for granular goods - using system with two deceleration bodies, with lower one acting on weighing cell via lever

The method has measures the density of a quantity of granular goods passing the the flow of material via two deceleration stages (4,6). Each stage contains a body around which the flow passes. The slope angle, leading and trailing cross-sections of the body are selected so that the weight acting above the stage is ineffective below it. The upper stage is fixed and the lower one can move. The lower one (6) has a hollow body or measurement chamber and is connected to a lever (7) in contact with a weighing cell (9). USE/ADVANTAGE Enables density of granular materials to measured during on-line operation.
