PURPOSE:To prevent the switching of an optical system caused by an misoperation by displaying a magnification and simultaneously starting the count of a time set in advance, when the magnification is selected by a selective operating part, and switching the optical system according to the selected magnification when a counted period is finished. CONSTITUTION:A timer 12 starting to count the time set in advance in response to the operation of a magnification changeover switch 2 for selecting the magnification display is provided. A microcomputer 11 switches only the magnification of a magnification display part 7 to the selected magnification in response to the operation of the magnification changeover switch 2. When the counted period is finished, an optical system driving mechanism 10 is controlled so that the lens and mirror of the optical system are moved to a position corresponding to the magnification, and simultaneously, a clutch, etc., are switched so as to obtain scanning speed corresponding to the magnification. Thus, the switching of the optical system caused by the misoperation can be prevented. |
