PURPOSE:To improve the luminance and saturation of an image by providing at least one of a specific transparent heat sensitive layer on a support having a mirror-reflective or second type diffusion reflective metal layer. CONSTITUTION:In a heat sensitive recording material, a microcapsule containing colorless or pale electron donative dye precursor and a transparent heat sensitive layer formed by coating and drying coating solution containing emulsion dispersion obtained by emulsifying to disperse developer dissolved in organic solvent scarcely soluble or nonsoluble in water are provided as at least one layer on a support having a mirror-reflective or second type diffusion reflective metal layer. The precursor includes, for example, colorless or pale compound for coloring, upon receiving of electrons or protons of acid, etc. The compound includes, for example, lactone, lactam, sultone, spiropiran, ester, amid, etc., which has a partial skeleton, which is opened or cleaved in contact with developer such as triarylmethane compound, diphenylmethane compound, xanthene compound, thiazine compound, spiropiran compound, etc. |
