PURPOSE:To provide an antibiotic-resistant Staphyrococcus infection-preventing agent effectively preventing infections diseases caused by antibiotic-resistant Staphyrococcus bacteria and requiring no anxiety on adverse actions for human bodies because of containing a natural substance as a main component, by compounding a tea ingredient as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:An antibiotic-resistant Staphyrococcus infection-preventing agent having a highly effective activity for preventing antibiotic-resistant Staphyrococcus infection, especially mesitylene-resistant Staphyrococcus infection contains as an active ingredient tea, preferably tea ploy phenols, especially one or more compounds selected form epigallocatechin gallate, epicatechin gallate, epigallocatechin, epicatechin, (+) catechin and their isomers, free theaflavin, theaflavin monogallate A, theaflavin mono-gallate B and theaflavin digallate of formulas I and II (R1 is H, OH; R2-R4 are H, group of formula III). |
