The invention consists in inserting between the twin wheels 2 a discoidal plate 5 provided with the corresponding central hole 6 for positioning on the hub and with the holes 4 for passage of the screws or studs for securing said wheels 2, and also for the inflation valve of the innermost wheel. The aforesaid discoidal plate 5 has, secured to its outer edge, a transverse wall which defines a tubular portion 7 whose openings are applied against the lateral periphery of the wheels 2, thus preventing stones or other obstacles from being able to be trapped between the pair of twin wheels. The tubular portion 7 includes holes or notches on its edges for ventilation and evacuation of water and mud. <IMAGE>
