Yarn reel transport system

A reel transport system has a vertical elevator which swivels and tilts. It has powered raising and lowering facilities intermediate to endless conveyors at right angles, and at different levels. The elevator unit (1) consists of a compressor (9) in the base (2), with hydraulic or pneumatic lifting gear contained in the casing (7), to raise the shaft (11). A motor (13) beneath the shaft (11), enables the table (14) to rotate. The table has a universal movement (16), with pneumatic cylinder (27) to tilt the appts. sideways. The endless belt (18) at each side, enable the reels to be transferred to and from the conveyor belts, bands, or chains. A motor (15) is connected to the drive wheels (21-24) for this purpose.
