Piezo-systems are regulated when used for welding plastics or metals, drilling or polishing, and washing or cleaning. The process used records all the physical actual and target values as well as derived figures; it regulates all the components centrally; it recognises all the physical target values; it assembles together all the individual regulating circuits with their actual and target values in one or more positions to form one regulating circuit; it has one single regulating strategy which embraces all the regulator circuits; this strategy incorporates tracking an individual variable in dependence upon one or more other variables; at the same time it controls this one and/or other variables somewhat parallel in direct and mutual dependence in one common control loop. ADVANTAGE - Instead of requiring a separate generator for every different application this system provides a concept which meets all requirements without limitations.
