The visor has at least one contact pad (I8) consisting of a die-formed moulding and has a contact plate (20) spread across a window-form opening (33) in a half-shell (I0). At least one contact pad lies upon an end spigot (8) which is retained in, and covered by, the half-shell (I0) as far as the contact plate (20). At least one contact pad has a contact tab, upon which the bared end of a cable is resistance welded. ADVANTAGE - The construction and installation of at least one contact pad is simpler and improved.
