PURPOSE:To improve the transfer efficiency of a graphic command by simplifying and displaying the character graphics which are meaningless even when displayed in plotting of character graphics. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate converting means 1 converts the character graphics assigned by a user from the world coordinates assigned by the user to the device coordinates of a graphic display device. A judging means 2 calculates the size of the character graphics in the device coordinate on the actual graphic display device in accordance with the results of the conversion of the coordinate converting means 1 and makes decision as to whether the graphics converted to the device coordinates have the resolution to the extent of having meaning as the character. The means converts the graphic character to the more simplified graphics if the graphics are meaningless as the character. A graphic command forming means 3 forms the graphic command in accordance with the result of the judgment of the judging means 2. A graphic display means 4 displays the graphics by the graphic command formed by the graphic command forming means 3. The transfer efficiency of the command is thus improved. |
