The device comprises a manipulator (4) which, from a calibrating device unit (3), transfers a blade (2) onto a welding rig and a drum (turret, magazine) (20) which carries the loaders fitted with plates, which are extracted by means of a thrust device and brought into position by means of a chute (22), and a transfer device (24), a rotary catch mechanism (21) turning over one plate in two. The spot (tack) welding is provided by a welding electrode bearing on the plate while an earth electrode is in contact with the blade (2).
