<p>PURPOSE:To spread a matching region of an inertia supercharge by providing a plurality of intake valves per unit cylinder and changing an introducing form of air from each intake valve in accordance with an operation condition of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of intake systems are constituted by providing two intake valves 2a, 2b per unit cylinder, and intake manifolds 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, provided in each intake system, are divided corresponding to a cylinder group only by the cylinder with an intake stroke not overlapping together. A resonance frequency of resonance passages 8a, 8b, 11a, 11b, which reach collective parts 5a, 5b, 9a, 9b from an air cleaner 6, is made different in each intake system. There is provided a controller 17 in which open/close valves 14, 15, provided in communication paths 12, 13 for mutually connecting halfway the resonance passages 8a, 8b, 11a, 11b of reaching the intake manifolds 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b of the equal intake system, are open/close controlled being based on an engine speed. In this way, a matching region of an inertia supercharge is rapidly spread.</p> |
