PURPOSE:To enable an excellent ink transfer and vividness to be obtained which has a low specific gravity, thermal stability, and a high whiteness, moreover, surface smoothness by laminating a porous layer on a specific polyester film. CONSTITUTION:Polyester is applied with a low specific gravity agent, and the polyester film is made low in its specific gravity, and incompatible polymer is dispersed and mixed into the polyester film in the shape coefficient in the range of 1 - 4, in order to make the film supporter a polyester film of 2% or below in its thermal contraction at 150 deg.C, 0.95 or above in its specific gravity, and -3 or less in its 6 values of color tone. Of course, the melting point of the incompatible polymer is made 200 deg.C or higher. Subsequently, water dispersing polymer and specific colloidal silica are mixed in a specific range, and the mixed liquids are applied and dried so as to obtain a porous layer. Besides, the peak hole diameter in holes of the porous layer is made 0.06 - 2.0mum in hole diameter distribution curves, or the areal ratio of holes is made 20 - 85%. |
