This invention consists of a cooling device for metal bars, designed mainly to differentially cool several uniformly heated bars.The device comprises two elements, joint together in a conical-shaped surface. This surface continues into another one, generated by a circular arc. Behind the two surfaces there are two semicircular chambers from which air is blown through several semicircular slope-shaped nozzles.The air acts as a cooling medium. It unfolds over the surface due to a Coanda effect, which makes it spread with decreasing speed and density.
