PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a cell and increase its strength by forming an oxygen electrode and a fuel electrode with a porous body, and providing many holes in parallel in them in the flat solid electrolyte type fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen electrode 2 and a fuel electrode 3 are arranged across an electrolyte plate 1 to form a cell. The oxygen electrode 2 and the fuel electrode 3 are formed with a porous body respectively, and many holes 7, 8 are provided in parallel in them respectively as oxygen passages and fuel gas passages. The electrolyte plate 1 and the oxygen electrode plate 2, the fuel electrode plate 3 and the electrolyte plate 1 are closely stuck to each other over the whole face. The conductivity on the contact feces is improved, the performance of the cell is improved, the electrolyte plate 1 can be surely held as a thin film by both electrodes, and the strength of the cell is increased. |
