PURPOSE:To reliably prevent the occurrence of contamination, by a method wherein an oilproof curtain is suspended from a curtain rod, expandably spanned between float bodies, through hangers, and the hangers are coupled with each other through a chain serving to prevent the hangers from being spaced too far away from each other. CONSTITUTION:The one end of a curtain rod 6 is slidably supported to a bracket 7 on the one float body 1 through a lower roller 8 and an upper roller 9, and the other end is supported by means of a retainer member 10 on the other float body 1 to bring the rod 6 into a state in that the rod is vertically and laterally rotatable in linkage with movement of the float body 1. Plural hangers 17 each having stopper 23 are respectively slidably attached to the rod 6, and are coupled with each other through a chain 21. The proper number of intermediate support pipes 3 are located to an oilproof curtain 2 made of glass fiber composite cloth, and the hanger 17 is coupled to the intermediate support pipe 3 through the chain 20 to form an oil fence E. |
