METHOD OF PACKAGING ELECTRONIC PART

PURPOSE:To facilitate machine type changeover and shorten the replacement time by specifying beforehand the position data and parts data of electronic parts packaged by an electronic parts packaging machine according to the order of the types of manufactured machines and automatically selecting the data in that order on machine type changeover. CONSTITUTION:The mounting position data and parts data selected beforehand according to the types of machines to be manufactured are stored in a CPU 3. When electronic parts are packaged by an electronic parts packaging machine 1, the selection data specified beforehand on changeover of the types of the manufactured machines are read out from the storage region. The CPU 3 judges whether or not data is selected with the selection data read out from the storage region as machine types are changed over. Data is selected automatically according to the judgement. That is, the electronic parts packaging machine 1 selects the mounting position data and parts data required for machine type changeover and automatically selects data according to the judgement. Thereby the operator of the packaging machine does not need to change over machine types and control machine type changeover.
