PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of weld defects by evaporating and removing a rust preventive coating film by preceding welding with laser beams before executing regular welding. CONSTITUTION:When steel sheets 4 or other steel products each having a rust preventive coating film 5 contg. zinc or a zinc-contg. alloy are welded, preceding welding with laser beam is carried out before executing regular welding to evaporate and remove the film 5. A welding wire and laser beams are used at the time of the regular welding. The occurrence of weld detects such as pits and blow holes can be prevented. |
