PURPOSE:To obviate the necessity of precise positioning and to facilitate assembling work of a solar cell by forming the electrodes of each cell, opposing to each other through a sandwiched adhesive layer, of a transparent conductive film covering the opposite faces of the cell to which the electrodes belong. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower cells 1, 2 are integrated by adhering the opposing faces of the p-side electrode 5 and the n-side electrode 6, constituted respectively of transparent conductive films, through a transparent adhesive layer 8. A solar beam incident on the upper cell 1 is internally subjected to photoelectric conversion. The solar beam passed through the upper solar cell 1 further passes through the transparent adhesive layer 8 and the transparent n-side electrode 6 of the lower cell 2 where it is internally subjected to photoelectric conversion. At this time, there is no problem of positional shift because the positional relation between the n-side electrode 6 and the p-side electrode 5 of the upper cell 1 is set accurately at the time of manufacture of the cell. Consequently, precise positioning is not required for the opposing electrodes of the cell. |
