<p>A disposable filter for the separation of heavier particles from a liquid suspension. The filter is distinguished by a vertical helically-shaped channel (13) which encloses a central cylindrical channel (9) and which is surrounded by a casing (4) which has a base (5) and which adjoins the outer periphery of the helically-shaped channel. The lower end of the cylindrical channel is connected with the base by means of a filter device (8). The filter is detachably connected by means of a fastening device (11) to the lower part of a separator (1), which functions to separate the suspension into a coarse fraction and a fine fraction, the latter fraction being led into the top of the helically-shaped channel (13) and the coarse fraction being led into the cylindrical channel (9), whereas the cleansed liquid is discharged at the top of the casing (4).</p> |
