The device of the invention is provided in order to be mounted in prepayment telephone apparatuses, and it is of the type with a single channel via which the coins 5-5'- 5"... slide, the coins being collected individually. The device is designed so that, without there being a need to separate the coins, it is capable of controlling, storing and collecting at least two of them, independently of the different types thereof and of the order in which they are deposited, without requiring the use of motors or movable stores and eliminating problems of jamming. To this end, the device is based on the fact that the coins 5-5'-5"... are held separately in this single channel 4 via corresponding retractable levers 9-9'- 9"..., which are associated with respective actuating coils 10-10'-10".... Similarly, there are sensors for detecting the presence of coins 12-12'-12". inside the single channel 4 and a sensor for detecting the passage of coins collected 15 located at the exit from the single- channel device 4 and at the entry 6 of the collection box. <IMAGE> |
