<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of a change-over magnetic clutch for the rotation of a pick-up roller and a standby roller and to provide a cheap sheet feed mechanism by providing a drive transmission mechanism for transmitting a drive power so as to rotate the pick-up roller during normal rotation of a drive source while rotating the standby roller during reverse rotation thereof. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 98 is rotated counterclockwise, a gear G7 is rotated clockwise, and accordingly, a friction lever 75 is rotated similarly clock wise about a shaft. Further, a planetary gear G8 is meshed with a gear G9 so that a torque is transmitted through a train of gears G9, G10, G11, G12 to the pick roller 34a which is therefore rotated counterclockwise. The rotation of the pick roller 34a causes a sheet 10 on a hopper 33a to be transferred to a standby roller. After the sheet 10 is held between the standby roller and a pinch roller 12a, the motor 98 is reversed to stop the rotation of the pick roller 34 while rotating the standby roller.</p> |
