<p>PURPOSE:To ensure uniform drying by providing scrapers having agitating vanes along a screen on the screen and providing a rack having pawls in contact with the scrapers. CONSTITUTION:Materials which are required to be dried and are charged from a hopper 5 in a supply port are placed on the screen 6 and are sent by the scrapers 12 moving from one end to the other. The materials required to be dried are heat exchanged with the hot wind heated up by fin heaters 18 from below the screen 6 and are thereby dried. The scrapers 12 rotate and send the materials required to be dried toward a discharge port while agitating the materials during this process. The materials existing between the agitating vanes 25a are scraped up and uniformly dried by the rotation of the scrapers 12. The scrapers 12 are rotated by the contact of the pawls 28a, 28b formed on the rack 13 with the agitating vanes 25a. The uniform drying is executed in this way.</p> |
