PURPOSE:To attain the functional and unitary control of a menu system in an on-line system by registering previously and systematically the menu screen relative information into a menu control file. CONSTITUTION:If a terminal ID code 51 is identical to a desired work program A that is selected at a terminal (a), a fact that the menu identification code MN of the immediately precedent menu screen is defined as a finally connected screen is registered. Thus the final menu screen identification code 52 of the terminal control code corresponding to a terminal IDa is read out of a terminal control file. The code 52 is identical to the code MN and therefore the menu screen MN is finally reset and kept in a waiting state. When the menu type of the selection item No. shows the next menu, the next menu screen is displayed and it is checked whether an initial menu is reset or not. If so, the initial menu is displayed again. If not, the selection of menus is waited for again. |
