PURPOSE:To efficiently and safely perform work by performing heating, pressurization and expansion of a tube, cutting and removing the residual end of the tube in a state wherein this tube is introduced into a drainage pipe and shrunk in the cross-section, and the residual end of the tube is pulled out on the ground through a manhole. CONSTITUTION:A plastic tube 3 is introduced into a drainage pipe 2 in a state wherein the cross-section is shrunk in a normal method e.g. while the plastic tube is heated and softened by heating fluid passed through the inside thereof. The residual ends 3a, 3a of both ends are pulled out on the ground. Steam is supplied into the tube 3 through a conduit 11. When the tube 3 is heated from the inside and pressurized, the tube 3 is expanded and restored to the original shape and stuck to the inner face of the drainage pipe 2. Further the residual ends 3a, 3a rising up through a manhole 1 are restored to the original shape. A remote operation type cutter 16 is introduced into the manhole 1 from a circumferential gap 15. The residual end 3a is removed by performing operation on the ground. |
