PURPOSE:To improve 'KONJAK' (devil's - tongue) into the form of a steak by providing a permeating means for taste in the 'KONJAK' cut to a prescribed shape. CONSTITUTION:'KONJAK' powder and additives such as citrus fruits, seaweeds and spices are placed in warm water and the resultant mixture is stirred and allowed to stand. Milk of lime is then added while kneading the resultant mixture and the kneaded mixture is placed in a molding box, allowed to stand and solidified. The solidified mixture is then warmed with warm water containing lime added thereto to afford 'KONJAK' 28, which is subsequently cut with a cutting die 30 in the form of a steak provided with projecting inner blades 36 and an outer blade 34 on a base 32 to afford a 'KONJAK' steak 10 having cuts 14 as a permeating means for taste formed therein. |
