PURPOSE:To accurately obtain the moving quantity of a focusing lens in a photographing system in order to focus by using a reference value and a correction factor stored in a storing part at every focus area based on an output signal from a focusing lens detecting means, or the reference value and the correction factor which are obtained by performing a prescribed calculation method by a calculating means. CONSTITUTION:An out-of-focus quantity (DELTAd) of the photographing system is detected by a focus detecting means 2. And in the case that the quantity (DELTAd) is within allowable extent in the photographing system, photographing such as releasing, etc., is performed by a discriminating means 6, on the other hand, in the case that the quantity is beyond the allowable extent, the quantity (DELTAd) is inputted in a 1st calculating means 4. And the reference value Si and the correction factor Ai which are equivalent to a focusing area in which the focusing lens is positioned are selected from the storing part 3 so as to be inputted in the 1st calculating means 4. In the 1st calculating means 4, the moving quantity (x) of the focusing lens is obtained by using the reference value Si, the correction factor Ai, a moving factor Sd and a function f(DELTAd) in the case of moving the focusing lens. And the focusing lens in the photographing system 1 is moved by a driving means 5 in accordance with the output value from the 1st calculating means 4. |
