PURPOSE:To enhance brightness and decorative value and prevent wrinkles or spots from being generated, by vapor-depositing a metallic layer on a film of a synthetic resin such as a polyester resin, coating the surface of the vapor-deposited layer with an ionomer resin layer by melt lamination, releasing the resin film to transfer the vapor-deposited film onto the ionomer resin layer, and pressing a polyvinyl chloride sheet against the exposed surface of the vapor-deposited film, with an adhesive therebetween. CONSTITUTION:A longitudinally smooth film 2 of a synthetic resin, e.g. a polyester film or polypropylene, is coated entirely on one side thereof with a vapor-deposited layer 3 of a metal such as aluminum. Next, the surface of the layer 3 is coated with a transparent ionomer resin layer 4 directly by melt laminating. The resin film 2 is then released to transfer the vapor-deposited film 3 onto the ionomer resin layer 4. An adhesive 5 is applied to the exposed surface of the vapor-deposited film 3, and a polyvinyl chloride sheet 6 is superposed on and pressed against the adhesive-coated surface, thereby obtaining a bright tape 1. An ethylene copolymer resin layer 7 may be provided between the vapor-deposited metallic film 3 and the ionomer resin layer 4 by melt laminating. The bright tape 1 is longitudinally attached to a braid head part 11 of a molding A, by integral molding. |
