<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high-voltage mineral insulation cable by a method wherein the end face of inorganic insulator powder inside a cable is formed in the shape of a stepped part or a curved face and an insulating cap one end of which is embedded inside an insulating sealer in and the other end of which projects outside and covers a conductor is provided. CONSTITUTION:The end face of a mineral insulation cable (MI cable) 19 is formed in the shape of a recessed stepped part, a projecting stepped part, a cone, an inverted cone or others by cutting the end face of insulator powder 13, and an insulating sealer 12 is sealed in outside the end face. Thereafter an insulating cap 10 is fitted in the sealer before it is set, in such a manner that one end of the cap is embedded inside the insulating sealer 12 while the other end thereof is made to project from the insulating sealer 12.</p> |
