摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce a tip camber remarkably by preseting by specifying the offset quantity DELTAS of leveling from the difference DELTAH of thickness at both edges of metal plate on the inlet side, meandering quantity DELTAy of metal plate on the inlet side, meandering quantity DELTAy on the outlet side and the changed quantity DELTAS of the leveling of a rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:This is the preseting method of the offset quantity of leveling of the rolling mill. the difference of thickness of wedges (at right and left ends of plate width) of metal plate on the inlet or outlet side is taken as DELTAH, the meandering quantity of metal plate on the inlet side of rolling mill as DELTAy, the meandering quantity of metal plate on the outlet side of rolling mill as DELTAy and the changed quantity of leveling of the rolling mill as DELTAS. By using the formula I or the formula II based on them, the offset quantity DELTAS of leveling of the above-mentioned rolling mill is estimated with good accuracy and the preset at the time of rolling the next coil is performed at that offset quantity DELTAS of leveling. In this way, the passing state of the tip of coil is improved and there is the effect that the tip camber can be remarkably reduced.</p>
