<p>PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of conversion by analyzing plural subjects related to each other, obtaining the solutions of these subjects through the conversion or recognition, and selecting a common solution. CONSTITUTION:A bilingual text display function 13 is provided to display an original text for reference of an operator together with an original text analyzing function 11 which analyzes the original text, a phoneme recognizing function 41 which converts the voices of a dictating operator into a phonetic symbol string, a phonetic symbol/character converting function 12 which converts a phonetic symbol string into a character string, an attendant original text file 23, a bilingual dictionary 21, a target language dictionary 22, and a translation text file 24. In such a constitution, an input text using the voices or the phonetic symbols is inputted to an input device together with the original information of the input text. This original information is analyzed in order to estimate the component word information on the input text. This estimated information is used. Thus it is possible to eliminate the ambiguity in conversion of voices or phonetic symbols into characters. Then the accuracy of conversion is improved.</p> |
