Liq. cleaning agent comprises a synthetic anionic surfactant of the sulphonate- and/or sulphate type (I), fatty acid alkanolamide (II) and a fatty alkyl glucoside of the fatty alkylmonoglucoside type (III). Pref. the (III) has an ave. of less than 2 glucoside units per fatty alkyl residue, esp. 1-1.4 glucoside units, and 10-18C, esp. 12-14C in the fatty alkyl residue. Pref. (I) is of the alkyl sulphate or alkyl ether sulphate type and the compsn. is free from alkylbenzenesulphonate type surfactant. Pref. the compsn. contains 2-25, esp. 3-20 wt.% (III), 2-25 wt.% (I), and 1-15 wt.% (II), esp. where the amt. of (III) is equal to or less than the total amt. of (I)+(II).
